he nursery is well equipped with large and small apparatus to promote the development of large and fine motor skills and dexterity. Children explore the different ways that they can use their bodies; running, skipping, hopping, sliding, rolling, balancing and co-operation with others during games. Children are carefully assessed for any physical disability and equipment is adapted for the individual’s needs.
Fine motor skills are developed through careful monitoring of water and activities with scissors etc. The children explore situations and ways of movement within a carefully controlled environment.
