Fledglings Room
Our aim is to create a place that invites children to explore, question, investigate, create and imagine. A place where skilled staff support learning and development so as to enable children to achieve their full potential.
This room is designed for each child to develop their ability to communicate, develop their fine and gross motor skills, assert their independence and individuality and learn and develop new life skills.
Within this room staff provide experiences and learning opportunities that encourage the children to use their imagination and creativity.. Staff promote children to lead their own learning and they provide a responsive environment that allows for frequent changes in interests, and capabilities. Throughout the day, children make self-directed and guided choices, participate in planned experiences. with small groups, join in brief circle-times with the whole group, and reflect upon and document their learning experiences.
