The nursery is situated in centre of Newton Mearns and is a convenient 5-minute drive from the nearest Glasgow bound motorway.
On arrival we have a secure entry system. Our rooms are decorated and resourced to provide a calming and rich learning environment for our little ones.
Our garden area is fenced off and provides space for children to develop their skills in the natural environment. The garden is equipped with open ended resources that encourage children to problem solve, be creative and imaginative.
The children have frequent opportunities to engage with the local community through nature walks and visits to the local library.

The Nursery is managed by Lynn Carruthers. Lynn has over 17 years of experience in Early Years. She is also our group manager and works collaboratively with management and staff from both Orchard Park Nursery Newton Mearns and Orchard Park Nursery Thornliebank to ensure a climate of quality, continuity and a nurturing and positive ethos. She works closely with the other local authority and partnership nurseries within East Renfrewshire Council. All our staff attend regular professional development opportunities.
